This past weekend, Heather and Keith had Kaleb dedicated at their church. What a wonderful celebration. We are thankful for their church family and their support of the Bielski family. I'm also thankful for our own family in that both my parents and Henry's dad and Kathy came for the weekend. With health issues on both fronts, it was special to have them here.
Although my parents came for the weekend, my dad continues to be very, very weak. He will begin a brand new chemo pill in a few weeks; he is the "guinea pig" for his doctor in that it is brand new and hasn't been fully released yet. This weekend they look forward to a "cousins reunion" at their home. I pray my dad is healthy enough to be able to enjoy it and my mom is strong enough to get everything prepared.
To our Tarpon Springs family, please pray for our friend, Angie. You remember her from visiting us when we were there; she's like our other daughter. I'm sure you remember that she had a snow skiing accident almost 15 months ago. She had another knee surgery this past week where they removed TONS of scar tissue so we would appreciate prayers for her for a full recovery.
Not much to report on the Cribb front except that we continue to be grateful for God's grace and goodness. Work keeps us focused and we continue to strive for balance. For those of you who know us well, that has been a challenge in the past and I am happy to report we are doing a much better job at that. That means we say no at times...something that didn't happen very often in the past.
Make it a great rest of the week! Remember, God is good...all the time.
