Perspective...

It's Spring Break and we continue to do a little here and a little there to improve our home. Yesterday, Henry put up a new fan in the family room. The one there when we moved in had "issues" so the replacement was necessary. We have one more that has to be replaced out on the back porch but that will come a little later. We spent some time in the yard cutting limbs and pulling weeds as well. It's coming along...a little at a time.

I got to thinking about something today. Perspective. Here's what I mean.

We weeded the area underneath our orange tree and it looks so much better. However, if you hadn't seen the "before," you wouldn't necessarily appreciate the "after" because it still needs some work...new mulch, leaves raked out, etc. How much are we like that when we look at others? God sees the before and after of our lives and knows the improvement that has been made. To others, we may still look like a mess. I think it's awesome that we don't have to worry about what others think but, instead, we only have to please God.

My prayer request for today is for traveling mercies for tomorrow and Tuesday. We are making a quick trip to South Carolina to introduce Kaleb to Henry's mom. Heather is going with us and we are praying for peace for Kaleb as he settles into 6-7 hours of carseat for the ride. Two days in a row may be crazy but it's what we have to do.
Make this a great week where you work hard to see others the way God sees them.

Thankful for life, Pam
