Cribb's

My dad has met with another oncologist who is more aggressive in his treatment. He has confirmed enlarged nodes in the chest, stomach, and pelvic area. Monday, we meet with the radioncologist and the treatment will be confirmed. Thank you for your prayers. We knew this day could come one day; it's here.

Henry had his first Saturday off today in many, many weeks. He's been working seven days a week for a long time. It was wonderful to have the opportunity to rest if we wanted to. We did a little of that along with babysitting Kaleb for a few hours so that Keith and Heather could attend a baseball game. While babysitting, the three of us took down a dead tree in our front yard! Well, actually, Henry sawed, I pulled, and Kaleb sat in awe and then cheered! It was so cool! The quote from one company to take it down was $150 so I guess you could say we made some money today!

We continue to remain amazed at God's goodness through our daily lives. Chad has started a new job and feels certain he will do well there. He's going to school fulltime then going to work straight from school. His days are long and full. He feels a sense of purpose and hope that has been missing for a long time. Thank you for your many prayers for him and we ask that you continue. In recovery doesn't mean you're done. Every day is a new day for a new choice. We are very proud of Chad.

Take care of yourselves and drop us an email when you can. We love hearing from you and feeling the connection.

Blessings, Pam
