Another week...

Happy Saturday night!

What a beautiful Saturday it was today! Just had to say...it doesn't get much better than today.

Update to last week's blog...Daddy got his garden planted with the help of my nephew. I knew he would. He is struggling physically though. I've started to type "specifics" and it just looks too harsh to see on the page so I'll just ask you to pray. There are many emotions with this ride and I just continue to push mom and dad to remain positive. If you would include that in your prayers for them, I would appreciate it.

Kaleb is taking some steps now! It's amazing to experience the joy this little one brings to our lives. He's busy and all boy...just the kind of son Heather and Keith should have! :) Big smiles and arms reaching out...doesn't get much better than that.

Heard from friends that the OC came down at the Tarpon church this week. (For our Apopka family, the OC was the two-story building used for youth ministry and the Cold Night Shelter, among other things.) It has been fun to follow postings on Facebook of memories different people had in that building. Lots of people came to know Jesus within those walls! For health and safety reasons, it was time for it to go but it's always hard watching an old friend take a fall.

Prayer Requests:
For Kevin Boyette, who was just diagnosed this week with prostate cancer.
For Russ McConnell, who continues to battle brain cancer....and Darlene and Anthony.
For Angie Sanders who continues the very long and slow road to recovery for her knee, injured in a skiing accident back in December.
For my niece, Kristina, who is just a mess due to a major drug addiction. She has a very important court day on Monday and needs to choose rehab. All indications have been that she won't. She has a two- and five-year old little girl who need a mommy. My parents are keeping the girls too much but feel they have no choice.

Thank you for checking in to my blog. Please take a minute to drop us a line via email sooner or later! We LOVE hearing from our friends!

Make it a blessed week and enjoy this beautiful weather!
