Today, Henry and I worked around the house. Well, Henry worked and I kept him company and helped when asked. With all the rain we got last week, he had very little chance to finish the outside work to get ready for exterior painting so we took advantage of the beautiful day we had to get that done. We worked some, cooked hot dogs on the grill, worked some more, ate watermelon under the shade tree, and worked a little more. It was a great day.
We also stopped to remember those who have sacrificed for us to have the freedoms we have. I couldn't help but think about my former co-worker's son who died in the Iraq war. I know many have died but Jason put a name on those we remember on Memorial Day.
