Prayers, please...

If you have read my blog at all, you know how much I hate drugs. Family members who chose (several continue to choose) to abuse drugs have changed our family forever. Last night, my baby sister had a heart attack and is in ICU; she is 40 years old. Luann has abused prescription drugs for years and two of her children are following in her footsteps. To say her drug abuse has changed our family would be the understatement of the century. With that being said, I don't even know how to pray so I'm asking if you would help stand in the gap for my parents as I know this breaks their hearts. God knows the situation.

I'm thankful every day that Chad is recovering and clean. I know it is a day-to-day decision he makes and I'm not naive to that battle. I believe I witness both a miracle of God's grace as well as a human's decision to live out God's desire for his life as I watch Chad. He is an inspiration and a reminder of God's faithfulness and goodness.

Have I told you lately that I love my kids? All of them.

Make it a great day and thanks in advance for your prayers.
