October Ramblings...

  • Henry was voted Teacher of the Year at Winter Park Tech!  How very exciting!  I couldn't be more proud.  Just looking at all the congratulation postings on Facebook is a snapshot of how many people this man's life has touched.  The list includes people from all of our former churches, friends in other states as well as local, family near and far, as well as past and present co-workers.  God is good.
  • We were at Adam Jameson's wedding last weekend and it was a blessing to be there.  This weekend includes a blessing in that it is Laura and Ross's wedding!  While we will celebrate with them, our dear friends from Macclenny, Bobby and Dana, will be watch their daughter Melanie walk down the aisle to the love of her life.  Next weekend, it's Kenny and Heather's wedding.  What a fun month of love and weddings!
  • Keith, Heather, and Kaleb are on their "babymoon" which means a last family vacation as the three of them.  Next vaca will include baby girl Kendyl who will be here in December.
God is good and His grace is sufficient.  Tonight I'm requesting special prayers for my friend, Melissa, who is teaching in inner city LA.  I have no doubt that she is doing an amazing job but the job is tough...very tough... very, very tough.  I thank you now for your prayers for her.
