Happy 4th!

What a difference a year makes! Last year, this time, Henry and I were living in Tarpon and Heather and Keith had come to visit for the weekend. We had a barbeque then went and played cards by the water (game taught to us by McKenna and Delaney Kelly) until Tarpon's fireworks started. We saw several Tarpon church friends (we were on the lawn of family of Tarpon church friends) including Don and Joanna Campbell. Don was the usher at our 9:15 contemporary service.

Fast forward one year. Henry is at work today, Heather and Keith are on a mini-weekend vacation, I stopped by and picked up Kaleb (didn't even know he was "in the works" last year) and he went with me to the Bush family reunion on the Suwannee River, and Don and Joanna Campbell are spending this 4th of July in heaven! Wow! You just never know.

This year, I continue to be thankful for this wonderful country that we live in...that we can drive wherever we want, that we can call friends and see family, that we have choices, and the list goes on and on. Mostly, I'm thankful that God is a God that never changes and He is the one we can depend on no matter what.

Hope you have a happy 4th and remember to thank God for this wonderful land we call home.

Blessings...
