Well, my fingerprints were finally cleared and I received a phone call today asking me to start work tomorrow! Yay!!! On my drive over from Tarpon Springs, I couldn't help but think about this new beginning for us. I have to admit that I felt sadness that the door of our life in Tarpon Springs is closing for good now. I know, I know. We can go back and visit. But it won't be the same anymore. I visited the manatees in Spring Bayou today one more time. There were about eight or nine there and I thanked God for the opportunity to live in the beautiful community of Tarpon.
How do people go through major life changes without a belief in God Almighty? This just reminds me how important it is that we share the message of the gospel with those around us because no one should have to go through a major life change without God.
On the other side of this, I am beyond grateful and excited that I have a job and it will be back with friends I admire and respect. At a time when there is a hiring freeze and budget cuts, I know who has provided this job and I am humbled and thankful.
