End of November

Can you believe it is already the end of November? Too crazy. Since my last post, my girlfriends came to visit and it was a wonderful weekend. We have also enjoyed this past week of Thanksgiving, doing lots of work around our house. Our garage is now organized and Henry's workbench is set up. Three closets have been repainted and new shelving went in that doubled the storage. The shed in the backyard has been organized. We received a visit from Rex Clonts, his fiance, Tracy and Barbara Grace! Our citrus trees are already doing better after Henry followed Rex's advice for them. We celebrated thanksgiving with our family and enjoyed time with Henry's dad and Kathy. The house is decorated for Christmas with the exception of our tree. Yes, it has been a productive week!

Please continue to pray for two things. My parents took my nephew to a Christian rehab facility in North Carolina this weekend. Last night was Brandon's first night there. Please pray for him as he does the hard work of getting clean and staying clean. He has been doing hard drugs for years so we are all praying hard. Also, please pray for my dad. He goes for a PET scan on December 6 but the cancer seems to be on the move. We'll know more on December 8. He is very weak but keeps going. Like I said, he and my mom made the trip to North Carolina so go figure.

I hope your thanksgiving was wonderful and now, as we turn toward Christmas, I pray you are able to stay focused on what is important...God, family, friends. That's my goal.
