So long...

Wow. I just pulled up the blog and couldn't believe how long it's been since I've posted an update. That should give you a clue about our lives right now. It's all good though! No complaining on this end! Just full and busy.

We have been preparing for an accreditation visit (COE) at work for the past 15 months or so. The last five weeks have been nonstop and every weekend. Tonight was the kickoff with the team visit. The next two days will be them going through all of our documentation to see if we will be reaccredited. Tonight's event was wonderful, held at the Winter Park Welcome Center. Char-Don catered it (it was FABULOUS!) and Chad provided background music (also FABULOUS)! To say I was a proud mom would be a huge understatement. I look forward to the next two days and will also be thankful when we wave goodbye to them on Thursday. :-)

Another great-niece was born. My "little" nephew and his sweet wife had Karlee Keeling on 9/20. Hard to believe little Kenny Wayne is a daddy. My niece, Kendra, is also expecting her second little one in February and will find out the sex next week. My sister will be a grandmother three times! She just can't be that old because I'm not!

Kaleb got his first "big boy" haircut. He looks like he grew up overnight. Have I said lately how much we enjoy this little guy? He is a light and is SO much fun to be around. He and Heather went with us back home to a church where Henry preached for the pastor who was on vacation. Keith has taught Kaleb how to hold out his hand to shake when someone says, "Nice to meet ya." He was precious as he shook every hand who offered it. He's also a little swimmer everywhere now and jumps in every chance he gets. So, so, so fun.

Been thinking a lot about "old" times. If you are reading this, you are a part of at least one of our "old" times. Know you are loved. Write any time. cribbplace@yahoo.com.
