Getting settled...

After a long week of work, we have some time off from school over the next week. Henry has been at work (at Home Depot) last night and today so I have been working at home. You can now see the floor and the furniture in the family room, living room, and Chad's bedroom (Chad took care of that one)! The kitchen is finally coming around.

We have learned many lessons over the last year plus. One of them is that you can live with a lot less than you think you can. For sure there are basics that you need to survive. Everything else beyond that is just stuff. We never really put much emphasis on "stuff" but, somehow, we accumulated as if we did. We are in the process of minimizing. Getting rid of stuff. And it feels good. Tiring...but good.

Another lesson we have learned is the importance of family and true friends. Some of the people who have stood by us are those we have known for many, many years. Some are people we met less than two years ago when we moved to Tarpon. For whatever reason, God has seen to it that we are blessed with people who love us unconditionally and He has used each and every one to bless us at just the right moment.

We are so thankful for those who helped us move throughout the last year. From Tarpon friends to Apopka friends to friends of our kids. We have lived six different places since last October. It is a little odd that we are unpacking to stay, but it is a good odd. :)

I'm thankful as I watch our house turn into a home. From the moment we stepped in the door, we felt this was our house. Each day confirms that God has, once again, provided in a way bigger than we could have ever imagined.

Please make a note of our new address: 8787 Belter Drive, Orlando, FL 32817. Our new phone: 321-972-3604. Give us a call or drop us a line any time. We would love to chat.

Blessings, Pam and Henry
