Bush Family Christmas

I am back in Orlando after a weekend in Trenton where we celebrated the Bush family Christmas on Saturday. We have had a longstanding tradition of photographing the grandchildren in front of the Christmas tree. Through the years, the grands have grown and now Nana and Papa have great-grands who were gathered around as well. As he prepared to say the blessing, Daddy (Papa) reminded us that next year we will be in a new house (theirs) with a new great-grandson (ours) and a new granddaughter-in-law (Brittney)! We have much to be thankful for.

On Sunday, Henry and I attended church in Gainesville where we loved singing the beautiful carols of Christmas. I drove back to Orlando Sunday night and have spent today shopping with Heather! Instead of exchanging gifts as a family, we are purchasing gifts for a child's family from Heather's school. We had a great time shopping and look forward to delivering everything tomorrow!

Thank you to those of you who have sent cards and/or called. It is a very different kind of Christmas this year for us but one in which we are blessed. We continue to know that God has great and wonderful plans for us as well as for you.

We truly miss Henry and you very much. I wish that next year brings both of your much happiness. Tell Henry I miss his hugs! Give him a big Hug for me. If you're ever in the area give us a call. We can have dinner together sometime.
